Shawn E. McDermott

Shawn E. McDermott is the Managing Partner at McDermott Law, LLC in Denver, Colorado, with expertise in disability law, where he has represented clients for over 30 years. His practice also includes personal injury, insurance coverage and bad faith, and ERISA/employee benefits disputes. Admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1992, Shawn also practices before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He earned both his B.S. (1988) and J.D. (1992) from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he graduated with honors and received recognition for excellence in oral advocacy.
