Biography
Maddie recently joined McDermott Law as a Paralegal. Born and raised in Colorado, she attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and graduated with degrees in Political Science and Psychology. After college, Maddie initially worked as a legal assistant and paralegal in personal injury law. This prior experience prepared to better serve this firm’s clients and to assist attorneys in the internal appeal process of denied disability and life insurance claims, litigation matters, and the overall complexity of insurance claims. Maddie is greatly interested in the practice of law and hopes to one day become an attorney herself. In her free time, Maddie enjoys skiing, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her tortoise.
